Every Texas oil and gas lease on record

Every Texas oil and gas lease that has reported production to the Railroad Commission — 322,415 of them, arranged by county, by Commission district and by operator. Each lease has its own page: the full monthly production history the operator filed, an Arps decline curve fitted to it, and an estimate of what a royalty interest in the remaining production is worth today.

By Railroad Commission district

The Commission divides the state into twelve districts. Every lease on record sits in exactly one of them, so these lists are complete.

By county

Where the wells are. This is the description on most royalty check stubs.

By operator

The company that runs the wells and cuts the cheque — the hundred largest by reported volume. Smaller operators are linked from their counties.

Production figures are as reported to the Railroad Commission of Texas. Values shown on lease pages are estimates produced by fitting a decline curve to that reported history; they are not offers or appraisals.
